Qube Radio Online is the name of the Online Radio programme started by a group of 1st year Journalism students in the Tshwane University of Technology. The idea for this programme was first proposed by Pule Letshwiti and Bruce Elekwang. The first show was presented by the two along with cameraman Njabulo Tyesi which was a show about relationships. They were later joined by Mongezi Mkhize, Mduduzi Mfeka and Sandile Ngubane who first presented the sports show which is now called Qube Sports.

Since then a lot has changed as the Qube now has a variety of shows from, social issues, sports, news, politics, music, fashion and lifestyle. Furthermore Qube now covers events such as the Rage Gaming Expo and South Point events. The team definitely puts in a lot of work as they have to balance a tight work schedule as they are doing second year now and also keep up with the demanding attention to their company. Mr Pule Letshwiti who is the CEO understands the amount of work which has to be put in, in order to reach success, though the members are not hoping to see the financial gain as yet, they are pretty confident that this company will be competing with the likes of eNCA in the years to come.

The company have now moved to merchandising where you can order water, caps and cups. The cups and caps can be purchased in different colours and bring style to many of those who lack in it. The team has a few things line up for 2017 and have welcomed new voices including shows. “Watch out South Africa here comes Qube”, says the CEO and not forgetting that they also have listeners in Brazil and England.
