      Photo from instagram (@realnomalanga)  ~
Four ways to slay like your favourite local fashionista.
If, like me, you call yourself a fashion lover you will know there are times when you enter sheer panic attack mode while getting dressed.
It's not life threatening or anything, but you suddenly go blank - and you know that #OOTD Instagram post is going to be so basic.
If you often find yourself in this situation, let me help you out a bit. I’ve rounded up to four fashion items local influencers are slaying on IG right now:
      1. Pleated skirt
The pleated skirt is one of the fashion staples we keep rehashing. It's so comfortable and so chic. So, slay this trend while it’s still hot, especially in metallic!

      2. Jumpsuit
Can we just appreciate the effortlessness of a jumpsuit? It's perfect for work, or dinner with the girls. All you need to do is add a few accessories and the shoes will depend on whether you want to dress it up or down.

      3. Faux fur heels
Inspired by the fluffy wonders made by Brother Vellies, this footwear trend is now dominating - and the nice thing is you can pair them with anything!

      I'M DONE WITH DATING MLUNGUS!
Tshidiso Moloi was left high and dry by his lover of eight years. Photo by Samson Ratswana  ~
TSHIDISO regrets taking his lover on holiday to spend some quality time together.
That’s because he is now all alone while his lover of eight years is in another man’s arms.
The SunTeam met up with Tshidiso Moloi (30) on Sunday, standing outside the entrance of Phiri Guest House in Tshwane.
He was crying hysterically, surrounded by three backpacks and plastic bags filled with clothes.
When he calmed down he said: “I will never date a white woman again.”
He said that he took two weeks leave from work just so he could treat his woman to a special Valentine’s Day.
He said they arrived in Tshwane last Sunday from Brits, in the North West.
“I wanted to show her how much I loved her. I had never taken her out because she was always busy looking after our three children.”
“Everything was fine between us until just now. We were in our booked room when we had an argument. It escalated and security threw us out.”
He said as soon as they were outside, they were approached by a mlungu carrying a knobkerrie.
“The man threatened to beat the hell out of me. I just stood there and watched as my girlfriend walked away with him.”
Tshidiso refused to say what they had argued about.
He said what worries him is that he was the last person her family saw her with.
Tshidiso said he will not report the incident to the cops.
“She left willingly. It was as if she had planned the fight because the man was already waiting for her outside the guesthouse.”
He said he wants nothing to do with her but he still has her ID, clothes and cellphone.

        PIRATES NEW COACH SURPRISE!

AFTER nearly four months without a head coach, Orlando Pirates have finally revealed the name of their next mentor.
On Monday, club chairperson Irvin Khoza announced that 54-year-old Swede Kjell Jonevret will be the new head coach of the Buccaneers.
The 54-year-old hails from Sweden and has previously coached Molde FK and Viking FK.
"I would like to say that I know SA football fantastically well. But I have been down here to watch a few games," said Jonevret at the press conference in Joburg.
"I’m looking forward to this a lot and it will be fantastic. I am really honoured to be standing here."
It took a 6-0 league defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns and disgruntled fans to display their unhappiness in no uncertain terms, for Khoza to last week confirm that a new coach would be named.
Buccaneers' fans at Loftus Versfeld halted the match against Sundowns in the 82nd minute by taking to the field of play.
Players and technical staff rushed towards the tunnel for safety as the match was brought to a premature end.
However, the match resumed after it took nearly an hour to bring calm to the situation.
In November last year, Muhsin Ertugral opted to jump ship after SuperSport United handed the Buccaneers a 6-1 hiding.
The former Ajax Cape Town coach announced on live television in his post-match interview that he would hand in his resignation.
Khoza went on to say that the club were in search for someone who will educate the players and not give up as soon as the going gets tough.
"We hope that the new coach has new ways that he can show us. We want coaches who are tutors not traitors," said Khoza.
"Coaches are like an arranged marriage, you go for the best.
"He will be introduced soon after this to the rest of the technical team.
"I think the most important thing is to improve the player's confidence and to stabilise the team."
The Buccaneers next fixture is against Polokwane City in an Absa Premiership clash.
Kick-off is at 3.30pm on Saturday 25 February.

Police seized 800 packets of nyaope and over R36 000 in cash during a raid on Saturday.  ~
A 42-year-old man accused of selling drugs was nabbed during a police raid in Bela-Bela on Saturday.
The raid was aimed at putting an end to the plague of drug abuse in the area.
The suspect was found in possession of 800 packets of nyaope with an estimated street value of R40 000 and more than
            R36 000 in cash.
According to Limpopo police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, the suspect is accused of being the main supplier of nyaope to drug dealers in Bela-Bela and Polokwane.
Ngoepe said: “The fight against drug abuse in the province has been strengthened by various police units who are working together to stop drug dealers.
“Members of the community are encouraged to expose all the drug dealers in their area by contacting us on 08600 10111.
“They can also contact us by sending an anonymous SMS to Crime Line on 32211.”
Ngoepe said they expect to arrest more suspects in drug-related cases as the police are continuing with their investigations.
The suspect will appear at the Bela-Bela Magistrates Court today.
            • On Friday provincial police commissioner Lieutenant-General Nneke Ledwaba led the police in an anti-gangsterism campaign held in Mmotong Wa Perekisi outside Polokwane.
He also established a team to investigate all the gang-related cases in Tzaneen, where 16 suspected gangsters were arrested for allegedly terrorising their communities.
Ledwaba said he is satisfied with the police’s efforts to decrease the amount of crime in the province.

              FAKE PUNANI PANTIES FURY!
According to shopkeepers, these panties are flying off the shelves.  ~
NOW women can buy punani panties – and many men are angry about it!
But shopkeepers are smiling, saying the fake punani panties are flying off the shelves.
Jeremiah Ndaba (34) told Daily Sun it is a turn-off when he gets to bed and finds he has been deceived by a fake punani.
“I think it is wrong to put on the panties and cheat men by pretending they are something they are not,” he said.
“I’d rather want her to get dressed and leave my place.”
A woman buying the panties said it gives her confidence when she walks around, especially when she is wearing tight pants.
“I love it. It doesn’t take long before men start asking for cellphone numbers,” she said.
She said men tell her they love this kind of punani and want their wives to be like her. “I have a boyfriend and he doesn’t mind. He buys me tight trousers that make him proud when we go out,” she said.
Selina Mathola said she feels complete with the punani panties.
“I know it is not what I really am but at least men love what they see.”
Selina said as a young woman she wants to be admired when she walks around the mall.
“The punani panties are the way to do it,” she said.
Shop owner Syaid Moffat said women, especially skinny ones, flock to his shop to buy the panties.
“The demand is high and I sometimes run out of stock,” he said.
But he said his customers don’t openly buy the panties.
“They try to hide from other customers,” he said.
PARENTS ANGRY ABOUT DAGGA PLANTS AT SCHOOL

PARENTS of pupils at Sediba Sa Tsebo Primary School in Soshanguve, north of Tshwane almost closed the school last week.
They were angry after three dagga plants were found in the school premises on Monday.
They went to the school and demanded a meeting with the principal before putting a board on the gate that read – dagga school!Klaas Malibe (50) said the reason they didn’t closed down the school was because of their kids.
“We know that if we close the school, our children will fall behind in their school work,” he said.
“But that doesn’t mean we are going to stop looking for answers about the dagga.
“We don’t know if anyone is dealing in dagga here in the school.
“Who knows? Maybe there are other illegal activities that are going on around in this school that we don’t know about.”
The parents said it was impossible that the gardener who worked at the school could not have seen the dagga.
“We want the principal to be disciplined because she has not done her job,” said another parent, Nomzamo Langa.
Gauteng Education spokesman Oupa Bodibe said they were satisfied with the principal’s response.
He said if any parent had information about who could have planted the dagga, they should come forward.
“This is of course a wild plant and it can grow anywhere.”

PROTESTING PUPILS STUDY IN MIDDLE OF ROAD
Mdeni Secondary School pupils are demanding that the education department builds a proper school for them.  ~
THESE gatvol pupils have been begging for a proper school for a long time.
In an effort to make their voices heard, they studied in the middle of the R63 road between Alice and Fort Beaufort, Eastern Cape on Wednesday.
Motorists were amazed when pupils from Mdeni Senior Secondary School in Alice staged their unusual protest.A motorist posted a photograph of the protesting pupils and teachers and it quickly went viral.
The motorist who posted the picture said: “The pupils told me the painful story of how they have been begging for classrooms because they are being taught under trees.
“They have been to the education department’s office twice in the past two weeks, but received no help.”
The SunTeam was told community members approached Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga because the provincial education department was taking too long to build them a proper school.
The department gave the school funding to build prefab structures, but there was not enough money to complete the project.
More money was provided by the education department and a contractor was hired to build new classrooms. But the contractor allegedly locked all the classrooms once he found out he would not get paid because the project was being investigated.
Eastern Cape Education spokesman Malibongwe Mtima said the contractor had not been paid.
“Officials went to the school and learning has resumed.”
Police spokesman Siya Nontshinga said the protest was peaceful and no arrests were made.

                      😳😳

JOYOUS CELEBRATION PULLS OUT FROM THE METROS!
Joyous Celebration will record their 21st album at the Potter's House Church in Dallas on 3 December. ~ Abraham Kortjaas ~
World renowned gospel group Joyous Celebration has pulled out from The Metro FM Awards 2017.
Taking to their Facebook account late yesterday the group explains the reason for the withdrawal: "As many may know we are all about the growth and development of up-and-coming artists which is our main reason for not entering music awards other than the DVD sales category at the SAMAs. Recently our label, Sony Music Africa, made an error and entered us into the Metros this year which we graciously withdrew from as we would like to shine the spotlight on the hardworking up and coming musicians in the industry."
The group was nominated in the Best Urban Gospel Album category for their album Joyous 20.
According to reports SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago says that the matter would not affect their preparations for the show.
                        WATCH: TAXI DRIVER MOERS WOMAN!
                          Screen grab from video  ~
Chairperson of the Ntuzuma Taxi Association, Velaphi Gumede, has apologised for the violent behaviour displayed allegedly by his one of his taxi drivers.
So irate is the taxi owner, that he plans to fire the driver as soon as possible if indeed he is the one captured on camera violently beating a woman in a taxi in KwaZulu-Natal.
“I can confirm that the registration is my taxi. It is a long distance taxi that travels from the Berea to the Eastern Cape.”
                          It won't happen again
He said he was in Johannesburg when he received calls from friends on Wednesday informing him about a video on Facebook which showed one of his drivers violently beating a woman outside a parking lot.
“I am going to meet with... [the driver] later today, he has been working with me for more than five years and this is the first time I have ever heard of such an incident. I would like to apologise to the public for the behaviour displayed by my driver... He should have not done this at home or at work," Gumede said.
“If he does admit that it was him, we are going to part ways because it is my name that is on the taxi. Our taxis have LV initials on them and that is my reputation, I do not want to be associated with violence.”
Gumede said he did not want to frighten commuters and promised that he would make sure that the incident does not happen again.
The minute-long video, which has been posted on the Crime Intelligence & Community Awareness Facebook page shows a man and a woman outside a parked taxi.
The woman appears to be struggling to get out of the taxi as the man blocks the door using his arms. The man then violently strikes the woman on the back of her head and she falls to the bottom of the taxi in a sitting position. She almost escapes by running away from the man but the man grabs her by her clothes and violently shoves her back into the first row of the taxi.
She tries to fight back but the man pushes her feet into the vehicle before shutting the door.
The person shooting the video tried to capture the number plate, which has a Durban registration number.
Facebook user Mbusi Nzama commented on the social network that the taxi belonged to a LV Gumede, who is the chairperson of the Ntuzuma Taxi Association.
                          Taxi association condemns attack
The South African taxi industry has condemned the brutal attack.
Provincial deputy chairman of the South African National Taxi Coalition Bheki Mbambo said he had not seen the video, but he condemned the incident.
“To hear that a taxi driver has done that is embarrassing, it is disgusting that he has beaten a woman, not that we are saying men must be beaten [as well],” Mbambo said.
“He is not a man, he is an animal.”
                          Violence must not be tolerated
SA National Taxi Council chairperson of Durban northern region, Sifiso Mthethwa, said he too had not seen the video, and any violence committed against commuters, male or female, must not be tolerated.
“Any abuse against commuters is wrong. All we want from commuters is their money, nothing else.”
Mthethwa said if drivers felt aggrieved about the actions of commuters, they still did not have a right to lay a hand on them.
“It does not matter what commuters say to you, if you are not happy, rather report them to police because you also have rights instead of painting the public transport industry in a bad light.”
