JOYOUS CELEBRATION PULLS OUT FROM THE METROS!

    Joyous Celebration will record their 21st album at the Potter's House Church in Dallas on 3 December. ~ Abraham Kortjaas ~ 
    World renowned gospel group Joyous Celebration has pulled out from The Metro FM Awards 2017.
    Taking to their Facebook account late yesterday the group explains the reason for the withdrawal: "As many may know we are all about the growth and development of up-and-coming artists which is our main reason for not entering music awards other than the DVD sales category at the SAMAs. Recently our label, Sony Music Africa, made an error and entered us into the Metros this year which we graciously withdrew from as we would like to shine the spotlight on the hardworking up and coming musicians in the industry."
    The group was nominated in the Best Urban Gospel Album category for their album Joyous 20. 
    According to reports SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago says that the matter would not affect their preparations for the show.
